Willow is a surprisingly good action RPG for the NES! It looks a lot like the Legend of Zelda and offers the same great sword-swinging action. What's more, this game has a distinctly different feel – instead of solving puzzles, it's more about navigating mazes and fighting monsters to level up.
The game is very loosely based on the 1989 Willow film, directed by Ron Howard and written by George Lucas. You'd think Lucas Arts would have developed this game, but it was actually developed by a crack team at Capcom!
