Discover why connections matter with our expert trainer. Tony, author and national trainer for the Center for Adoption Support and Education (CASE), will be our guide as we learn to better support our foster and adopted children. His life experience as an adoptee is an important part of this powerful training. Participating professionals will receive 5.5 CEU credits.

What you will learn:

– As with all types of adoption, relationships with the birth family are respected.
– Processing children's stories with truth and confirmation.
– Recognize common misconceptions about the family of origin.
– Respecting cultural identities and understanding grief and loss in adoptive, kinship and foster families.

Why participate?

Connect with a community dedicated to best practices in adoption and foster care from a trauma-informed perspective.
