In Modern Warfare 2, unlocking camouflages takes a lot less time. Gold in MW2 can be achieved in about a day if you play a bit. Platinum takes more time, as you have to get gold for everyone in that class. Modern Warfare 2 does it even better with polyatomic camouflages, as you get platinum for all 51 currently in the game.
