We're getting ready for some fun with crowds of antique dealers in Centralia, Washington! The Antique Trading Center of the Northwest is hosting its annual antiques market this weekend, and we're going to be so busy appraising that we'll have to get our booth at Tower Avenue Antiques in order ASAP. Everyone in town is in the mood for fun, so let's take a look at the preview now!

My girlfriend and I fill every corner of my booth, then take a quick tour of town to show off what else is available in this 1910 railroad town, named one of the top 10 antique destinations in the country by USA TODAY! Vintage window displays, cute '50s shaker sets, serious Victorian art glass, and the coolest '30s steamer trunk we've ever seen now populate our booth, along with pretty linens, a rare Doulton tapestry vase, eye-catching brass and copper, World's Fair items, and railroad merchandise…we leave no stone unturned and no space empty!

Then we scan the mall's offerings as we head out to the antiques downtown area for some window shopping! Shady Lady captivates us with her unique combination of decorative vintage and a new specialty section, and tells us a little about how shoppers from California and Arizona have been scouring the city for furniture and antique decor this summer…we all have a lot to do to get ready for the weekend. We show off the splendor of the 1912 Olympic Club & Hotel, where antique tourists can spend a few hours or a weekend marveling at original Tiffany chandeliers and Mission-style pool tables that never left the bar and restaurant.

A quick look at the many antique and vintage specialty shops in town (several malls, bookstores, jewelry shops, and more) leads us to the corner near the 1912 Amtrak station where visitors from Seattle and Portland come straight to Antique Fest… and visit me on the weekend for appraisals! We're excited to be a part of this charming and fun town and to participate in this annual event that promises excitement for antique lovers.
