The core of the entire Scrum framework is the sprint.
This is the time when the Scrum Team creates work and delivers value to the company.

The length of a sprint can vary, from one week to one month (our sprint usually lasts two weeks) and provides clear boundaries for the team.

This creates a constant feedback loop that ensures that customers are continually offered added value.
All other events in Scrum are based on the sprint itself.

Without a sprint, Scrum lacks rhythm and the workflow is disrupted.
It allows the team to quickly release a high-quality product.

The International Agile Federation (IAF) is a non-profit, member-managed global Agile certification body. We offer master courses for Agile practitioners and people who are new to Agile frameworks and want to further improve their skills.

Our mission at IAF is to focus on agile learning in the 21st century, not on teaching, but on shifting from knowledge transmission to asynchronous knowledge acquisition through deep learning, innovative collaboration, education and community.

IAF members are a passionate group of social entrepreneurs, digital talents and agile educators reimagining asynchronous agile learning and agile ways of working for the 21st century.
