What is a risk assessment?
It is a health and safety risk assessment that helps identify hazards in the workplace and take control measures against the risks. The process involves identifying hazards and risk factors, analyzing and assessing the likelihood of their occurrence, and identifying ways to eliminate or control them.

A hazard is something that has the potential to cause harm to people, property or the environment, while risk is the likelihood that a hazard will actually cause harm or damage under certain circumstances.

In this short video, we explain the four key elements you need to consider when planning your risk assessment and show you how to conduct one in four basic steps.
