Purple Teams are a relatively new trend in the information security industry and represent a new tool in the toolbox of organizations to improve cybersecurity effectiveness. Purple Teams are a hybrid of Red Teams and Blue Teams with the intention of fostering a collaborative culture between Red and Blue and creating a real-time feedback loop for faster strengthening of controls.
