Welcome to week 34 of pregnancy!

This week, baby is about the size of a Tickle Elmo doll or a cantaloupe! The main highlights are that baby's central nervous system is fully developed and their already formed brain is starting to grow and exhibit the classic folds and structures we associate with the brain. The vernix that kept baby moist and protected from bacteria in the womb is starting to thicken and will soon be absorbed by the skin. Roxanne also talks about the growth of baby's razor-sharp fingernails and toenails and both ladies offer some tips on managing those baby claws! And finally, baby's sleep cycles are pretty much fully aligned with what they will be outside of the womb.

Roxanne explains to expectant mothers how the baby begins to anchor more in the upper pelvic area and you may feel this increased pressure in certain positions. As your due date approaches, you may also experience more fatigue. And finally, it is common for your hands, feet and face to swell at this time and Roxanne shows you some ways to combat this discomfort.

Plus, Gina shares her battle with insomnia, how she stays active despite the intense summer heat, how she uses lymphatic drainage tools, and how she's practicing better self-care.

Let us know how YOU are feeling this week in the comments section below!
