There are advantages and disadvantages to both approaches. If you are heavily involved, this will likely take more time than if you only take on one responsibility.

On the other hand, if you decide that volunteering is too time-consuming for your lifestyle, some people may question your commitment due to your lack of involvement.
It is up to each individual whether he or she wants to commit himself or herself full-time or not.
