Throne and Liberty (also known as TL) is an upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by NCSoft and published in South Korea. It was scheduled to be published by Amazon Games in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan. It was intended to be part of the Lineage series and a sequel to the first Lineage game, but was redesigned and restructured during development. The game was first announced in November 2011 and titled Lineage Eternal, but suffered numerous release delays, with the earliest planned beta test occurring. The first closed beta in South Korea began in 2016, starting on November 30 and ending on December 4. NCSoft relaunched the game as Project TL as part of the private NCSOFT Director's Cut event.
