Modular automatic sorter storage system in Astroneer with overflow protection.

In this video, I'll show you how to create or upgrade a simple, smart, automated sorting and storage system in Astroneer that can hold all of your precious resources and help you manage them efficiently. We'll complete this device with an overflow protection system that stores random or excess items, and a good old power button for emergencies. And a separate EXO chip area will be completed too!

Storage is done in large canisters that can hold up to 400 resources each. It's a modular system that you can expand as you wish. Platforms, canisters and automatic arms filter and sort the items entering the storage system and place them in the right place. Just choose how you want your resources to be displayed and let the system sort them for you. We're waiting for Snails and the Nintendo Switch update!

I'll also show you in a simple way how canisters work and how they relate to automatic weapons in terms of priority. Lightning fast saving and sorting!
