He is co-founder and president of the Foundation for Progress in Chile, one of the most influential free market think tanks in Latin America. He is an international lecturer and best-selling author of several works, including his Tolkien-inspired fantasy novel The Book of Asgalard (available only in Spanish). His book The Street Economist became the best-selling business book in the Spanish-speaking world for the last 20 years and plays an important role in Argentina's current market movement.
