It was my first time in Rome and all I can say is wow – what an incredible place. The ancient history blew me away (I'm not usually into this sort of thing), you just can't help but be impressed by it all. Of course, I was most excited by all the pizza and pasta (and Aperol) and boy did we find some great restaurants. Discover the king of carbonara, the best gelato shops and the cafe with the best view of the Colosseum.
