If you feel that your Samsung Galaxy device is killing apps in the background too frequently, I can show you a setting that can help you fix this problem.

Some users have noticed that the memory management system forces applications to refresh even if they have only been running in the background for a short time.

Luckily, there is a customization feature that advanced users can easily enable to prevent this from happening so often. And as a bonus, at the end of this video I can show you how to enable an extra RAM feature on supported devices.

To begin with, we must first install the Memory Guardian module. This is located in the “Good Guardians” application, which can be installed from the Galaxy Store.

If you're not familiar with it and want a step-by-step guide on how to set it up, be sure to check out the video description below where you'll find a link to a previous guide I made on the Good Guardians app.
I'll even link it in the pinned comment so everyone can find it easily.

After Good Guardians is installed, we can open it.
And from here you want to install the Memory Guardians module.
Then go back here and tap Memory Guardian so you can launch the module itself.

Now look at the bottom part of this application and then tap on the Customize tab
From here you will then want to enable the Quick Swap Mode feature.
Tap the blue “Apply” button
And that's all.

With this feature enabled, your Samsung Galaxy smartphone or tablet will keep more apps in memory, so your favorite apps will need to be updated less often.

Now for this bonus tip.
Some Samsung Galaxy devices also have a feature called RAM+. You can check if it is supported on your device by launching the Settings application first.
Scroll through this menu until you can tap the “Device Care” option.
And then we dive into the storage section here.

If RAM+ is available, it should be listed on this page here.
Therefore, make sure that this feature is enabled
You can even switch this to the largest option available
This also helps prevent the firmware from killing apps in the background so frequently.
