Web browsers are the gateway to the internet, so it's no surprise that they're often targeted by companies or hackers looking to collect information about YOU! Not only can websites track you, but browsers themselves can send information about you back to the browser's parent company. In other words, your browsers become spies for companies like Google or Microsoft, sending all that information back to them to make money from it! This video compares the most popular browser options and helps you make an informed decision about what's best for you!

The main browsers discussed in this video are Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Tor Browser, Microsoft Edge, and Brave. Browsers are often a trade-off between privacy and convenience, but there are some great options that give you a good amount of both.

An important note: A privacy-focused browser is essential for personal internet use…but it's not enough. There are many ways to track your internet usage. To learn more, check out some of the other videos in my privacy series, which will give you a great introduction to a modern, privacy-conscious lifestyle!

By the way, a browser is different from a search engine. You can find the most private search engines in this video: https://youtu.be/o4sMstvwi0I
