Sprint planning is limited to a maximum of 8 hours for a one-month sprint. For shorter sprints, the event is usually shorter.

Scrum says NOTHING about whether for sprints less than a month the maximum duration of the event should be PROPORTIONALLY shorter. There is no such thing as /"no more than 4 hours are required for a 2-week sprint/".
