Ashes of Creation's Story Arc system activates quest lines in specific regions depending on various scenarios, such as the region's node progress, which race controls the node, and what content players have already completed. When a Story Arc is activated, the Zone changes its environmental aesthetic, different mob types appear in the zone, and new quests and objectives become available as well. Each Story Arc provides extremely rare resources exclusively for the duration of the event. Likewise, quests related to these events are only available for a limited time available, but these Story Arcs are repeatable, so if you miss a Story Arc when it first activates, you can complete the associated quests once the Story Arc becomes available again after a cooldown period.
