In this video, I dive into the best places to farm Kuiper Shards in /"The First Descendant/" after the latest patch update. I walk you through the two best farming spots that will ensure you effectively maximize your time and rewards.
Echo Swamp – The Ultimate Farming Spot: In Echo Swamp, the Abandoned Refinery is the best place to farm. Here, I manage to collect around 2,000 Kuiper Shards per hour when going solo, and an impressive 240,000 to 350,000 Kuiper Shards per hour with a team. This spot isn't just full of Kuiper Shards; it's literally a gold mine, with 12,000 gold per run, which will significantly increase your gold-per-minute rate.
Kyper Mine in Sterile Land – High Yield, Second Best: The Kyper Mine in Sterile Land is my second favorite location, especially effective for group farming sessions. Teams can harvest between 150,000 and 200,000 Kuiper Shards per hour here. Alone? No problem! I still rake in about 5,000 Kuiper Shards every five to six minutes.
Rich in resources: What sets these locations apart is not only the sheer quantity of Kuiper Shards, but also the abundance of other valuable resources such as reactors, components and modules that are essential for upgrading your equipment.
Efficiency at its finest: These farming locations are chosen for their efficiency to ensure that every minute spent here results in maximum gains in materials and in-game currency.
