Last night, T-Mobile officially launched its new AWAY data plan specifically for RV drivers, campers, digital nomads and boaters.

As reported multiple times over the past few months, the plan costs $160/month for unlimited nationwide data on T-Mobile's own network. It must be used on the provided gateway device and the service can be paused for $10/month. There is also a 200GB option.

At the same time as launching this plan, we expect T-Mobile to soon begin offering address validation for T-Mobile Home Internet (TMHI), which is significantly cheaper at $50/month but is intended for fixed locations only.
