In this month's episode, I'll teach you different levels of strategy and how to use strategy tools.

In about 45 minutes to an hour, I want to give you a sense of what strategy is and the tools we use to develop strategy. Then I want to teach you how to apply these tools at the organizational level in your daily life by developing strategic thinking skills.
If you take this mini-course, at the end you will learn very clearly what strategy is and the different levels it covers, such as corporate strategy, business strategy and functional strategies.
You won't confuse it with tasks or goals anymore when you learn the Strategy Canvas with Value Curves. It's a tool that helps you see the bigger picture, helps you position your offerings and thus develop strategies to become… unique. And as I teach you this, I'll go through so many case studies that it will become clear to you.
And finally, the second half of the video is going to be the most useful part for you. Because in reality, you're probably not the strategy manager or CEO of a large multinational company, you're probably not the chairman of the board of Coca Cola, so in the second half of the video, I adapted strategy development to be applicable to your daily life. You're going to learn how to develop strategic thinking that you can apply to your work, your family life, your school, simply put: your life. You're going to be a smarter person because you're thinking more strategically, you're going to be more successful because you're able to spot more opportunities, you're going to fail less because you're able to spot risks even before they become obvious. And I'm going to try my best to do the impossible and cover everything in under an hour and make it super easy to understand. I'm going to try, but let's see if I succeed.
So what is strategy?
Strategy is a word that is used frequently and often in the wrong context. Most people confuse it with goals. Essentially, strategy is a roadmap that leads us to success.
Where you are is your current state, and where you want to be is your desired state. How you bridge this gap is your strategy.
So if I were to teach my kids strategy, I would say: You want to be the first to reach the finish line. You can run straight to the finish line at 5 km/h,
Or you can extend your route, take more time because you have to cover a greater distance, but collect the speed boost along the way so that you end up faster by about 20 km/h. Collecting this speed boost to win would be your strategy.
Now let's get back to the adult world. In the business world, we have three main levels of strategy.
We have a corporate strategy
We have a business strategy
And we have a functional strategy
So let’s start with the corporate strategy.
