Follow @DrKayforkids for more baby content. I'm Dr. Kavya Chandrashekar, a pediatrician from Bangalore.

Are you ready to introduce solid foods to your little one?

Do you feel overwhelmed about giving your little one solid food? ️

As a pediatrician, I recommend starting with a soup-like consistency and gradually increasing the amount to semi-solid/“chunky” food.

Don’t miss this opportunity and try offering your child “finger foods” to help him or her learn chewing movements.

At 12 months, your baby can enjoy the same foods as the rest of the family! ️‍‍‍

Make sure you're giving them the right food consistency with our guide!

We make sure mealtimes are fun and stress-free for you and your little one!
