Learn how to manage dedicated servers with Unity Game Server Hosting (Multiplay).
This is their tool that allows you to upload a server build to the cloud, and then the system will create servers and scale them up or down as needed.
This works very well with Matchmaker, the tool I'll cover in the next video.
It's a very mature, production-ready tool. In fact, it's exactly what Apex Legends uses to manage its server infrastructure. It's also engine agnostic, as you can see, since Apex Legends isn't built with Unity, it uses Game Server Hosting. You can use it with Unity, Unreal, or any other game engine.
Here you will learn how to get started with game server hosting. As a demo I will use my game Kitchen Chaos, which was developed from scratch in the previous two FREE courses.
