If you don't want to use the manual pass settings, you can still perform the same flair shots with the normal finisher. They work similarly with the L2 L1 finisher. However, they are a little easier with the manual flair through pass as there are fewer passing animations, so you will succeed more often.

The trajectory will also be different when passing towards the goal. With a normal shot, these flair shots are more likely to miss. When passing, you also get the benefits of passing styles. In many cases, a batted or pinged pass towards the goal is better than a power shot.

In my opinion, scoring goals with manual passes is OP compared to standard shots. Passes are often better than shots if you have a great passer with passing style traits.

Note that each FIFA Flair shot requires you to move the left analog stick in a specific way. For example, the Sideflick requires you to aim to the left or right side of your player. The Backheel requires you to aim backwards, of course. In each example, you can watch how I move my left stick, as all the movements are seen underneath Ronaldo.

The best thing to do is to let go of everything for a moment and then press the desired command. This is the easiest way to perform flair shots and get the type of shot you want. Everything works similarly in old FIFA games and the new EAFC game.

If you want Ronaldo and Messi to go to the same EA FC training stadium together, transfer them to the same team. For example, you can transfer Cristiano to Inter Miami (MLS) in the Edit Teams and Club Transfers section.
