Demo presentation of some basic reverse engineering techniques.

The idea here is to have a goal in mind before diving into binary static analysis.

I talk about how I often include the same binary in all three disassemblers I use: Binary Ninja, IDA, and GHIDRA. I also explain how running the binary before starting static analysis can give you some guidance and help you solve the puzzle in your head about what the program might be doing or what you need to look for.
