Registry trick to block feature updates for Windows 10

So you want to permanently block or stop feature updates for Windows 10 and stick with a specific version of Windows 10? Let's say Windows 10 1903 or Windows 10 2004. Then this video is for you.

1. Open the Registry Editor by typing REGEDIT in Windows search.
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE//SOFTWARE//Policies//Microsoft//Windows//WindowsUpdate
3. Right-click on Windows Update
and select New
4. Select the 32-bit DWORD value and name it TargetReleaseVersion
5. Set the value of TargetReleaseVersion to 1
6. Right-click the Windows Update folder again
7. Select New and click String Value
and name it TargetReleaseVersionInfo and enter the version number of Windows 10 as the value, i.e. 2004, 1909, 1903, 1809 or 1803

This allows IT administrators to specify which version their devices should be upgraded to and/or which version they should remain on until service ends or the policy is reconfigured. For more information about the different Windows 10 versions, see
