This webinar will help you:
• Gain a better understanding of the ISA/IEC 62443 series of standards
• Understand the role standards play in improving industrial cybersecurity
• Learn more about the difference between IT systems and IACS
• Get insights on how to start securing your IACS

Webinar topics include: Notable cybersecurity attacks on IACS, differences between IT systems and IACS, the ISA and IEC standards organizations, the ISA/IEC 62443 series of standards and technical reports, key concepts of the series, and the ISASecure certification program.

Industrial automation and control systems (IACS) are increasingly vulnerable to cybersecurity attacks due to the use of commercially available technologies, increased interconnectedness, and attacker means, resources, capabilities, and motivation. This webinar provides an overview of the role of standards in improving IACS cybersecurity, particularly the widely used ISA/IEC 62443 series of standards and technical reports.

Developed primarily by the ISA99 standards development committee "Security for Industrial Automation and Control Systems" and simultaneously reviewed and adopted by the Geneva-based International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the ISA/IEC 62443 series provides a flexible framework to address and mitigate current and future security vulnerabilities in IACS. The committee leverages the input and knowledge of IACS security experts from around the world to develop consensus standards applicable to all industries and critical infrastructures.
