In Caracas, people banged pots and pans in their homes and on the streets to protest Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro's claim that he had won the country's disputed elections.
Many people flocked to the presidential palace in Miraflores on foot to protest.
The opposition denies that Maduro's election victory was fraudulent and says its candidate Edmundo González won convincingly with 70 percent of the vote.
