Example ITEM 1

In a small town, a local charity called Help Hands Foundation manages donations and distributions manually. The secretary of the organization maintains a large ledger that records donations from benefactors and distributions to beneficiaries. Recently, some donors have raised concerns about the transparency and accuracy of the records.
Also, during the last meeting, a new volunteer suggested digitizing the records to improve efficiency and reliability. The organization welcomed the idea, but most members are not comfortable using computers. The records from the ledger were transcribed and provided in the support file HELP_HANDS.docx. An example of a thank you letter to donors is provided in the THANKS.docx file.
Using the support files provided;
(a) Create an electronic database of records and, on this basis, generate a report of the total amount of donations received during the previous year.
(b) Create a list of donation recipients and write a personal thank you letter to each donor.
