Polypond – Pond liner helps in saving water. We lose the largest amount of water stored in tanks, ponds and canals due to water seepage into the soil, which reduces the efficiency of the canals and ponds. Protection can be provided by layers of sand, concrete, fibre mats and other materials. Pond liners are manufactured in rolls. Strips of liner can be sewn or welded together on site and, in a number of flexible types, the panels can be prefabricated in the factory to fit the shape of the pond. The edge of the pond liner can be rolled over and fixed in a trench or attached to a vertical wall of brick or concrete.
