The 2020 edition of the Polestar Design Contest presented our professional and student designers with a deceptively simple challenge: “Pure”. They had to create a new Polestar car that fully embodies this aspect of the Polestar identity and has a design purity that would still be seen 20 years from now. With over 600 entrants, the jury had its hands full, selecting just one professional and one student winner, alongside an honorable mention. The results speak for themselves: near-future concepts that truly push the boundaries of what design can achieve.
