This was the first pivoting design of our now multi-patented and world-renowned guide rail mounts, first produced in small quantities in early 2017 as a more thoughtful improvement to Festool's mounts found on the MFT/3. Since then, over many generations, we have dramatically improved them in every way, always seeking higher levels of performance and reliability.
