What is object-oriented UX? How can it improve our UX audit process?

Another thing we want to look at is leveraging object-oriented UX. Unfortunately, one of the biggest things we do as product teams and designers is we build things screen by screen. It causes us to stop thinking about the objects and how they work or appear in different areas of our product. This is an example from Eventbrite.

You can see that this card and the page header have some of the same information, but they present it differently and reshuffle it. This can potentially cause continuity issues. If someone clicks on something on the home page where the smaller card is and then comes to the larger page, they're thinking, "Oh, hey, where's the date?" It was shown right at the top.

It was bright and red. Now it's gone. If you want to dive deeper into object-oriented UX, Sophia Prater has a ton of great material on that, so be sure to check that out. But that's also something we can incorporate into our UX audits.
