Now it's time for the Brisbane office to go "live", so Eric will use a custom script to update the status of the site and all locations, racks, devices, clusters and VMs at the site from "Scheduled" to "Active". Using a script is much faster and more convenient than having to go into each section of the NetBox UI to update the status of everything. He can just run the script to update everything in a few seconds!
Eric's boss has also just informed him that a new office is planned in Stockholm, Sweden and that he should plan for that as well. Since the company has been using the same network equipment as a standard for all offices, Eric will use another custom script to create the planned location as well as the network equipment he wants to deploy there.
