When you look at drawings and pictures of buildings, it's easy to think that they're just visual representations. In reality, they're ideas translated into images that are meant to embody the goals and intentions of your particular project.

We should be able to use narrative storytelling clearly and succinctly to describe what we're trying to do without talking about the look or other aesthetic aspects. That's a weak foundation, since we all have very different aesthetic opinions. So yes, of course we want to /"like/" it, but that's one of the last things that needs to be considered at every step in the process.

When we receive a clear and convincing description of your goals for your building project, we can judge whether this actually corresponds to what we see in the drawings and how we experience the space as users.

Once you open it, there will be no one there to explain it to you, so it has to be embodied in a profound way. That's why narrative is so crucial and helps us create better buildings.
