In this course, you will learn how to master security architecture for the cloud. You will use a NIST CSF-based methodology to develop your architecture from business and regulatory requirements to components and features that can be implemented in the public cloud.

The course will teach you how to map requirements to security measures and conduct risk assessments. You will learn to master security strategies for the cloud and build a resilient security posture using a defense-in-depth strategy. The methodology presented in the course will also enable you to demonstrate compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA. Another important learning objective is to create structured documentation of the security architecture.

This course is based on a healthcare clinic example and places a hands-on focus on learning. After completing the course, you will be able to use all of the provided methods and templates from the course in your own work. The resulting components and functionality can be implemented in any cloud platform, but the course does not cover cloud platform-specific technical implementation of the architecture.
