Welcome back to LC University! In this lesson, we'll explore the LiveChat homepage, chat section, and various available features and integrations. Let's dive in and discover the power of LiveChat!

LiveChat homepage:
The home page is your starting point in the LiveChat Agent app.
Access it by clicking on the LiveChat icon or opening the app.
Explore real-time overviews, performance metrics and task suggestions.

Chats: Getting Started and Resources:
When a customer starts a chat, they receive an automatic welcome message.
The sneak peek feature enables real-time visibility of customer messages.
Chats can come from the chat widget, the chat page of a website, or a mobile app.
Invite customers to chat manually or automatically via targeted messages.
Chat forwarding allows colleagues to forward chats within the team.

Overview of the Chats section:
Access the Chats section in the sidebar of the LiveChat Agent app.
Switch between ongoing conversations and receive notifications about new messages.
Participate in queue chats in your free time.
Unassigned chats are messages received while the team is offline.

Chat interface and functions:
The conversations take place in the chat feed.
Scroll up to see previous messages and maintain context.
Visitors can see when agents are typing, indicating that a response is being prepared.
Message preview allows you to preview customer messages before they are sent.
Canned replies provide predefined messages for quick responses.
Add previously sent messages to canned replies for later use.
Transfer chats to other agents or groups with private notes and toggles.
Use tags to categorize chats and make them easier to retrieve.
Access customer details on the right side of the chat interface.

Close and archive chats:
Chats end when customers close the chat widget or leave the website.
Auto-closure can be set based on inactivity timeouts in chat settings.
Agents can manually close chats and archive them for later reference.

LiveChat Dashboard and Integrations:
The sidebar provides quick access to the Dashboard, Chats, Traffic, Archives, Team, Reports, Marketplace, Settings, and Profile.
Explore the Marketplace for a wide selection of apps and integrations.
Connect LiveChat with Google Analytics, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce and more.
