In this tutorial, you will learn how to use SQL with mySQL. First, you will learn what SQL is and the different relational database management systems that exist. Second, you will learn how to install mySQL on your computer. Third, you will learn how to import a real database so you can practice.
Then we start writing queries. First we will write simple SELECT statements, then SELECT with DISTINCT and finally aggregate functions like COUNT or AVG. Then we will move on to filtering using the WHERE statement. After that we will learn GROUP BY, ORDER BY and even adding a LIMIT. Finally you will learn how to export your query scripts and result tables and import them into Excel or Power BI.
