Alan began his theatre career in community theatre and co-founded Taking Steps at the MAC in Birmingham. After a stint in musical theatre in the West End, Alan joined Circus Burlesque, an all-human touring circus. He then formed a comedy duo with Mick Wall, whose credits included four years on the BBC television series Dizzy Heights. Alan has also written, performed in and directed many music programmes for radio and television, including the hugely popular series Music Makers. Following his successful career in theatre and television, Alan co-founded Purple Monster in 1995 and developed his special talent for connecting with audiences of all sizes into a world-class ability as a presenter. This October, Purple Monster, a company specialising in employee engagement, celebrates its 20th anniversary.
