Take control of your personal data with the new Enhanced Privacy feature in iOS 16.2. This powerful new feature extends end-to-end encryption to many additional iCloud data categories, providing an additional layer of security for your personal information. With Enhanced Privacy, your data is encrypted from the time it's created until it reaches the intended recipient, ensuring that only you and the person you're sending the data to can access it, even if the data passes through other servers or networks along the way.

This feature protects your data, including message backups, iCloud photos, notes, reminders, Apple Wallet passes, and even your device backups and more. It's worth noting that Advanced Data Protection is currently only available to US users, but will roll out to the rest of the world in early 2023.

To enable Enhanced Privacy, simply go to Settings, iCloud, Enhanced Privacy. Remember that this feature is optional and you can enable or disable it at any time. Don't put your personal information at risk and take control of your security with Enhanced Privacy in iOS 16.2.
