Our recent economic downturns can be attributed not only to regular business cycles but also to a lack of ethical understanding among decision makers. Mohammad Ali came to the United States from Pakistan in 2002. He has been a researcher since receiving his Ph.D. from Rutgers University's School of Management and Labor Relations in 2011. Mohammad currently works as an Associate Professor of Management at the School of Business Administration at Penn State University (Harrisburg). His academic interests include business ethics, stakeholder management, labor relations, human resource management, and corporate governance. Mohammad is an avid reader of philosophy and history and enjoys watching films and exercising. This talk was delivered at a TEDx event in the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. For more information, visit https://www.ted.com/tedx
