One of the most useful things you can do when you start building is to first create a prototype by hand using cheap and lightweight materials. And while there are many different philosophies for prototyping, designer Jen Schachter shares her processes and techniques for building with cardboard and foam core. Here are some ways to make and use physical prototypes to work out design problem solving and bring your ideas into a tangible form!
