The little voices in Riley's head know her inside and out — but next summer, everything changes when Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2 introduces a new emotion: fear. According to director Kelsey Mann, the new character promises to cause unrest at headquarters. "Fear, voiced by Maya Hawke, may be new to the crew, but she's not really the type to take a backseat," Mann said. "That makes a lot of sense when you think about what's going on in all of our heads." A trailer, poster and stills from the film are now available for the movie, which promises to be the feel-good (or feel-everything) movie of summer 2024.

Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2 returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley, just as the headquarters is suddenly demolished to make way for something totally unexpected: new emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who by all appearances have been running a successful business for a long time, aren't quite sure how to feel when Fear shows up. And it looks like she's not alone. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Fear, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear and Liza Lapira as Disgust. Directed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, Inside Out 2 will be in theaters only in summer 2024.
