In this video I will share with you my results after paying an Instagram influencer to be an affiliate to promote a product.

If you are watching this because you want to try this method, watch to the end as these four steps will dramatically reduce your risk of losing your money.

Here are the steps I list in the video:

1. Find the partner product and create a landing page

I chose a network called Digistore24. Digistore is a very good alternative to Clickbank.

And so I decided to try this product called The Genie Script by a guy named Wesley Virgin.

The reason I chose this particular product to promote with influencers is because it falls into a niche that has a large audience, and I know I can find many pages in this category on Instagram.

Since this is a meditation product, I could look for sites about meditation, Buddhism, spirituality, the law of attraction, etc.

After selecting the product, ideally I should have created a landing page to collect emails, but in this case I chose to use a direct link.

2. Find the right Instagram influencers

Many people who try this fail here because they choose sites with fake commitment.

I had to make sure I chose a page in a category that matched my product.

I simply went to Instagram's search bar and typed in keywords related to my niche.

I only consider pages with over 100,000 followers, because below that I think it becomes difficult to generate enough traffic and make sales.

When I found sites related to my niche, I didn't immediately contact them for a post.

I had to make sure they had good and organic engagement, real followers, real people commenting and liking their posts, and so on.

How to analyze Instagram pages:

The first way is to check the comments section of their posts.

You need to make sure that the site does not receive many comments from other similar sites, that would be a bad sign.

This probably means that this page is in an engagement group where people comment, like, and follow each other.

For example, if you are analyzing a site in the “spirituality” niche, you don’t want to see a lot of comments on the posts from other “spirituality” sites.

It's okay to see a few similar pages here and there, but you need to make sure that they also get comments naturally from random people.

Next, you need to check the quality of your followers.

To do this, we need to go to socialblade.com and paste the page name into the search bar. And see if they are gaining new followers daily.

If they are losing followers every day, it is probably not good and you should stay away from that site.

Next, you should look at the followers gained each month and look for spikes in the graph. You don't want to suddenly see a big spike, like 10,000 followers in one month. That may mean they are buying followers.

Now that you have a product and one or more sites you want to advertise on, the third step is to contact those sites.

3. Send them a message (business related)

So I sent these people a simple message and just asked them about their promotional rates. They actually told me that they had two sites on the same niche and that they would pay $35 to post on both sites.

If you want to do this, I recommend you pay through Goods & Services on Paypal, because if they scam you by taking your money and not doing what was agreed, you can just tell Paypal that they scammed you and you can get your money back.

You also have to agree with them that they shouldn't post anything in the first few hours after the launch. I would say the first 4-6 hours because if they post something right after your promo, your promo will quickly disappear and you won't get as much traffic.

4. Send the content

After the negotiations and all that, I sent them my content.

I created this quick image on Canva.com by simply using the stock photos from the Canva tool.

And I sent him the picture and the description of the post and my affiliate link in the bio.

Just 4 hours after the post went live, I made my first sale, earning me $43.49 after 690 clicks.

I didn't make any more sales that day, but the next day I woke up with another sale worth $31.19 and 904 clicks!

More than 900 clicks on this seems like a lot for an Instagram shout of this size, but we have to remember that I put a direct link.

If I had a landing page, many people would simply land on my page, read what it was about, and then leave.

So in total I earned $74.68. If we subtract the amount I paid this influencer ($35), we have a profit of $39.68 in 24 hours.
