This new hands-on online course will introduce you to the fantastic technique of gouache resist, which will give you exciting images not unlike woodcuts. Ink Resist is also known as gouache wash off and is based on water-soluble gouache which protects the paper to prevent the permanent ink from sticking. It may sound strange but it works beautifully and is demonstrated step by step. We will paint the turtle above and I will also show you how to mount your painting on a wood block rather than framing it, giving you a new way to display your paintings.
