Today I'm going to show you how to use NordVPN on a MAC. In my opinion, this is the most comprehensive Nord VPN Mac tutorial for 2021.Hey what's up, my name is Nick and welcome to Tech Apps. Today we're going to talk about installing Nord VPN on your Mac. This is an M One, Episode 10. And here's the Intel Mac, they both run exactly the same as currently, to date, no VPN provider has released an app that is natively supported by the M One processor. If that ever changes, please check down below in the description because I will be sure to update it. And if you don't have Nord VPN yet, I will also include any discounts I find for it. So let's get started with the review. Let's start by going to the website. This is where you can sign up. And once you're signed up, you have a pretty simple interface, there's really not much to go through. So we'll go through everything. So, first we'll see the services, we have Nordlocker, we have Nord, VPN and Nordpass. Those are three different apps that Nord VPN offers. And we'll get to that in a minute. Let's jump to Nord VPN here, more information about that, and then Nordpass Nordlocker. And at the end there are downloads. And from here you can just download Nord VPN. And that gives you the option to select where you want to download. We have a Mac, of course. So we go to Download for Mac OS and select Nord VPN Ike v2, that will open up our app store. And from our app store we can download the app. Great. So what does it look like? When we launched the app, it looked like this. You can connect to any country you want right away. Let's do that right now. Now. Let's connect to the United Kingdom. And that's it, we're connected. It couldn't be simpler. We're using a VPN now. But there's more to talk about. So let's get into that a little bit more. Aside from selecting the location map, in the sidebar you can see the list of locations that you can select by name. And below that there are some specialty servers that you can connect to as well. For example, P2P is peer-to-peer, which actually increases your download speeds and is designed for torrenting. It's a little less secure, a little less, I mean, really negligible. But yeah, it's designed for the best speeds possible. If we're up here, we have the settings tab, and in the settings tab, we have a few things that we can configure. Let's go through them. Generally, we have this auto-start when the computer boots up. If you're using a VPN all the time and that's a good option, then Cyber SEC is cybersecurity that blocks ads and malware when connected. Nord has a list of IP addresses that it deems malicious and just blocks them… the 5,000 character limit is over, sorry guys.
