Every driver should check that a vehicle is roadworthy before driving it. A thorough inspection of the entire vehicle inside and out should take about 15 minutes.

You should check everything from tread depth to loose panels and light bulbs. Anything deemed unsafe should be reported and repaired before the vehicle is used.
