If you want to sync iPhone and iPad, you have several options. The very first is to use iCloud. You can simply log in to iCloud on iPhone and iPad, but make sure you use the same Apple ID and iCloud account. Otherwise, it will not help to sync iPhone and iPad.

Then activate everything you want to sync between the two devices.

The syncing process may take a while. Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on both devices.
