In this technical workshop, you will be up to date on the development of self-determined identities. In particular, you will learn everything you need to know about Hyperledger Aries Framework JavaScript, a toolkit with all the necessary functions to exchange verifiable credentials. Recently, this framework has evolved a lot thanks to active community participation and EU funding. It is now one of the most mature tools in the Aries ecosystem. Aries Framework JavaScript specializes in cross-platform development and accessibility for developers entering the world of self-determined identities.

During this 1.5-hour workshop, Berend and Karim from Animo Solutions will go through the main focus points of the framework as well as its current features. They will give an overview of the future roadmap and demonstrate some of the solutions built using the framework. They will then demonstrate what it feels like to work with the framework in a live coding session.
