When you're online as a business, not everyone will be happy with what you do.

At some point you will get a negative review and reputation management is key.

Hi everyone, I'm Neil Patel and today I'm going to tell you how to deal with negative reviews.

The first thing you need to know about online marketing is that you should respond when someone leaves a negative review.

For example, if they are unhappy with your service, you should explain why your service is great and what you will do to change that.

Or, if they're completely wrong, you should respond: "Hey, I appreciate the feedback, and here's what we'll do to improve the experience for you next time."

/"And because of that, we believe we actually have a decent service /"or a decent product or offering./"

But you won't please everyone when you're in reputation repair mode.

And when you respond to these people, make sure you do it positively. Don't just say, /"No, you're wrong, /"and you don't know what you're talking about./"

It must be positive, e.g. /"I appreciate your feedback and here are the reasons why I disagree. /" or: This is how we will fix the problem./"

And secondly, and this is really the last thing, to avoid a bad reputation.
Improve your business.

Even if you feel like you are wrong, just try to improve.

Take people's feedback to heart and try to improve your business.

The more you try to please other people, the fewer negative reviews you will ultimately receive.

And of course, you may not have a perfect rating, but you could have 4.5 or 4.7 out of five stars.

And that's good enough. Nobody is perfect in the long run. At some point you will get a negative review.
