I personally use either Bitdefender or Total AV as my best mobile antivirus, but for this tutorial, I'll be using TotalAV:

Download the antivirus from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Search for "TotalAV Mobile" in the Google Play Store. Install the app and log in or register an account. Run a comprehensive scan of your phone with Total AV. This may take some time as it will thoroughly analyze your device for potential threats.

Once the full scan is complete, we can go through the recommendations of our antivirus app. It will show you how to deal with any security issues it detects. Enable real-time protection in your antivirus app. This will ensure that your device remains protected from potential threats in real time. Simply enable the real-time protection feature of TotalAV for Android.
